LEADERSHIP OPENING REUNION
The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Forum class of 2010 celebrated its opening retreat in San Antonio at the La Cantera Resort. The nearly 40 class-member group will spend the next nine months learning about Fort Bend County and developing their skills as community leaders.

CLEAR CHANNEL HONORS
FREED ADVERTISING
Clear Channel hosted a party at Amici  for Freed, a full-service Sugar Land-based advertising agency, in honor of the company ’s 25th anniversary. Enjoying the party were clients and employees from the companies. Freed has been in operation since 1984 and earned a client list ranging from national consumer products to niche business-to-business companies.

SUGAR LAND SUPERSTAR
The 2009 Sugar Land Superstar competition drew a record number of vocalists to audition for the fourth season of the area ’s version of American Idol. After a series of eliminations over the summer months, it was narrowed down to the top final contestants —and boy, what a show. Congrats to Nathaniel De Jesus—the youngest winner ever at Sugar Land Superstar!
