Fort Bend Lifestyles & Homes November 2009
<<HOME
Once again, the CASA Christmas Home Tour Committee has expanded and outdone itself in assembling a dazzling array of homes for guests to tour.  From a traditional home to a Victorian farmhouse, guests will be treated to close up looks at six incredible homes in Sugar Land and Richmond during the two-day event to be held Dec. 11-12.
Now in its 18th year, the CASA Christmas Home Tour helps Child Advocates of Fort Bend advocate for the needs of abused and neglected children in the community. Through its two programs, Court Appointed Special Advocates and the Children ’s Advocacy Center, the agency touches the lives of more than 400 young victims each month.
The tour’s success not only lies in ticket sales, but from corporations and individuals who sponsor the tour through monetary contributions or in-kind donations. Setting the pace for the event are Presenting Sponsor H-E-B and Archangel Sponsors Apache Corporation, Consolidated Home Health, Fred and Mabel R. Parks Foundation and Union Pacific Railroad along with 90 other early sponsors who have already pledged their
support. Home Tour sponsorship oppor- tunities range from $100-$10,000.
Guests will be dazzled by some of the most exquisite holiday décor and home designs, entertained by area talents, treated to homemade cookies and hot apple cider —all by purchasing one ticket.
Tickets will be available at all greater Houston area H-E-B stores, Fort Bend Amegy Bank locations, OakBend Medical Centers and the Riverstone Information Center beginning Nov. 1. Tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 on the day of the event.
A special Tour Lunch Buffet will be served at Sweetwater Country Club from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for $15. Local pianist Joey Boesch will provide entertainment. Enjoy tea room modeling provided by JoS A. Banks and JoAnn ’s and shop at the tour lunch boutique. Tickets are available at the door. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Child Advocates of Fort Bend.
