CASA Gala for
the Children
OPA! Over 500 guests celebrated a night in Greece in May at the CASA Gala for
the Children benefiting Child Advocates of Fort Bend. The gala raised an
estimated $218,000 in support of abused and neglected children in Fort Bend
County. One of the highlights of the evening was the featured speaker, Aldo
Jefferson. Now an adult, Jefferson was served by CAFB as a child, and gave a
moving talk about how his CASA volunteer had impacted his life. Child Advocates
of Fort Bend touches the lives of more than 400 abused and neglected children
each month.
