The mission of Cookie Joe’s Dancin’ School is to inspire children to grow into confident, self disciplined,
creative, healthy respectful individuals and they do it all year long.
Classes are designed to build strength and flexibility while instructing
students in the technique that is the foundation of a quality dancer. Whether
your child dreams of dancing on Broadway, gliding across
Swan Lake or being the CEO of their own corporation, the character, work ethic and
communication skills needed can be learned on the dance floor. Classical
ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and hip hop styles are available. Students as

Ann Moody Sill Dance Studio
Ann Moody Sill Dance Studio is proud to have offered the finest in dance
education for the past 39 years. Offering a non-competitive family atmosphere,
students may dance simply for the enjoyment of the art, to pursue a
professional career or become a teacher. AMSDS uniquely offers its students,
including performing company members, the opportunity to participate in other
school or outside activities while dancing with the AMSDS Company. In place of
dance competitions, AMSDS focuses on community performing, including 27 years
of elaborate annual Christmas Shows seen all around the Houston area.
“I feel that dancers should offer a portion of their talents back to the
community,
” says Ann Sill, owner and director of the studio since 1971.
AMSDS has also put a “freeze” on all costs (tuition, registration fee, recital fees, etc.) in order to
accommodate families during the country
’s shaky economy, thus allowing more children to take or continue taking dance.
This spring, the studio will present its bi-annual recital at Houston
’s Wortham Center.
