ZK Homes Develops The Enclave
in Lake Pointe Town Center
High-end, high-density community will be luxurious and eco-friendly
Upwardly-mobile Fort Bend residents will soon have another choice in luxury-living called the Enclave.
The high-end, high-density community will be constructed on the northwestern peninsula of Lake Pointe Town Center at State Highway 6 and U.S. Highway 59.
Native Houstonians who grew up in family real estate, partners John Kirksey and Lee Zieben founded ZK Homes and Zieben Kirksey Development to continue a family tradition of positively impacting society through luxurious and ecologically-responsible home design.
Each ZK Homes home is energy efficient and incorporates products and materials that reduce negative impact on the environment while still maintaining a beautiful design and creating a high quality of life for the homeowner.
Zieben and Kirksey feel that it is the obligation of ZK Homes to build a solid product that adds value to society as a whole and will stand the test of time.
“A little over a year  ago, we were selected by Planned Community Developers (developer of First Colony) to develop the largest remaining residential tract of land available in Lake Pointe Town Center, ” Zieben said. “We were given the opportunity to let ZK Homes and its sister company Zieben Kirksey Development develop and build an upscale, urban, gated community in the heart of downtown Sugar Land. ”
The higher density, urban infill development product of Zieben Kirksey Development is a relatively new concept for Sugar Land, and required approval from
both Sugar Land City Council and the Planning and Zoning Committee.
Features and appointments include tile roofs, stone and stucco exteriors, gas lamps, and paved walks and driveways.
“This project represents infill development in Sugar Land— a turning point for a suburban city gone metropolitan,” Kirksey said.
ZK Homes specializes in high-end urban gated communities with a high density of patio and townhomes.
Together, Zieben and Kirksey create a luxurious, but invitingly-comfortable lifestyle for the homebuyer, using extensive recreational amenities, appealing streetscapes, attractive landscaping and preserved natural features to increase the value of the homes. The communities also include amenities like walking trails, dog parks, gathering areas, community parks and water features.
Since their company’s inception, ZK Homes has almost doubled in size each year. It was recently named as the 36th fastest-growing private company in Houston by the Houston Business Journal, and has won numerous awards for outstanding and distinct design. The company recently achieved Green status with the National Association of Home Builders.
In their short three-year history, ZK Homes has received numerous Prism Awards, including Patio/Garden Home of the Year, Product Design of the Year for homes in the $400,000 to $600,000 range and Best Custom Elevation in the $400,000 to $600,000 range.
