irlfriends know that shopping and eating make for a perfect day. Add a glamorous
fashion show and you have a truly fabulous day! The 2009 FBJSL Sugar Plum
Market offers all three favorites in one convenient location. The
“A Magical Holiday”-themed event will be held on Friday, Nov. 6 from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday,
Nov. 7, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Stafford Centre Performing Arts Theatre and
Convention Center.
The highlight of the two-day shopping extravaganza, presented by Methodist Sugar
Land Hospital, will be a mystical fashion show and luncheon each day and an
enchanting Friday evening fashion show and dinner. All three shows will be
catered by Ray
’s Grill.
This year’s fashion show contributors include Macy’s, JoAnn’s, Jos. A. Bank, Urban Rendevous and Latte Tots. Michele Fisher from 96.5 FM
will emcee all three fashion shows. Professional models and local celebrities
will showcase the latest seasonal trends just in time for the holidays. In
keeping with the magical theme, magicians will entertain guests before each
show.
Beauty Indulgence Day Spa & Salon will provide all the hair styling and make-up for the models. “Beauty Indulgence is honored to be a part of the Sugar Plum Market and grateful
for the opportunity to support the community that has been so gracious in
supporting us over the past five years,
” said manager Teresa Hart. “We welcome everyone to our tranquil setting providing transformation and
rejuvenation.
”
Seating for the luncheons will begin at 11 a.m. and seating for the Friday
evening dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Fashion Show tickets are $65 each. A Fashion Show ticket includes entrance to
the 2009 Sugar Plum Market for shopping on both days.
