What a blessed event… Ken and Tanya Whitaker tied the knot! The couple held their nuptials in May in
Sugar Land, and celebrated again with friends in Aspen, where they
“recreated” the ceremony at a private party. Congratulations to the beautiful pair.

RETIREMENT PARTY
Crowds of well-wishers gathered in Riverstone to mark the retirement of one of
Fort Bend
’s most respected real estate professionals, Jim Hudnall.
Hudnall was a custom sales executive in the Sugar Land-area master-planned
community, where he had since the community
’s inception. Before coming to Riverstone, Hudnall was custom sales director for
First Colony and also built a successful program there.
Since his retirement, Hudnall has been working on his golf game. He and his
wife, Kaye, also look forward to traveling and spending more time with their
three children and eight grandchildren. The couple has lived in Sugar Land for
37 years.
Custom home sales in Riverstone and Sienna Plantation, both projects of The
Johnson Development Corp., will now be handled by a combined sales team of
Paula Moss, Jack MacDonald and Nancy Simmons.
1) Riverstone hosted hundreds of guests, including Riverstone’s Cherie Sloan and Larry Johnson, president and CEO of The Johnson Development
Corp.

SUMMERTIME FUN!
6) Bobbie and Ken Alexander of Sugar Land enjoyed a great holiday in Colorado,
where the pair went hiking to Lookout Point.
7) Long-time Fort Bend resident Kelly Crow jaunted off to St. Maartens for a family
get-away with parents Steve and Maggie Crow.
8) Sugar Land SuperStar announced the winners of this year’s competition, including finalists (top row) Travis Wisely, Alisha Pace,
Nathaniel De Jesus, Renee Miura and Cedela Abdulla. Emcees were (front row)
Michael Garfield, the High Tech Texan, and Michele Fisher with Mix 96.5.
9) Enjoying a “girlfriend’s getaway” to the Amalfi Coast of Italy were Pam Brownshadel and Joan Mastrangeli.
Afterwards they joined more friends for a Mediterranean cruise to Sicily,
Greece; Ephesus, Turkey; and the Greek Island of Crete. What fun!
