Little Wonders Learning Center
At Little Wonders Learning Center the teachers act as researchers studying
children. The teacher acts as a companion. Each child is on a path, she assists
the child on finding and walking that path. The teacher also acts as a learning
partner who is engaged with the content that engages the children.
The curriculum is Reggio-inspired. This means that the curriculum is “child centered.” Activities are designed in response to the particular strengths, challenges and
passions of individual children. Children have the capacity and the right to
express their feelings and thinking through many different
“languages” or “media.” Good curriculum consists of authentic work that grows from the interest and
passions of the children.
At Little Wonders Learning Center their belief is that parents and children are
partners in the child
’s education. Joy and friendship should be the principal ingredients of life at
school. They also offer after school care, which is education-based and focuses
on tutoring and completion of homework assignments. Visit Little Wonders
Learning Center at 4743 Lexington Boulevard.
