Colony Music Studio
They cultivate and nurture the love of playing music for students of all ages in a fun, supportive and well-equipped learning environment. Colony Music Studio ’s sole mission is to provide personalized private lessons for piano, violin, voice, guitar and cello. Their teaching philosophy is in matching each individual student ’s unique learning requirements to a teacher’s teaching style/preferences, instead of using a single method for all students. Lessons are available all year with a month-to-month commitment.
Teachers have either a degree or more in music or have extensive experience. Self-confidence, self-esteem and performance skills are developed through formal recitals held twice a year.
Convenient scheduling is available for multiple siblings taking lessons for the same or different instruments. The studio is well managed; service is personal and lessons start on time. Experience the joy of music in First Colony; call 281-208-0900.

Little Wonders Learning Center
At Little Wonders Learning Center the teachers act as researchers studying children. The teacher acts as a companion. Each child is on a path, she assists the child on finding and walking that path. The teacher also acts as a learning partner who is engaged with the content that engages the children.
The curriculum is Reggio-inspired. This means that the curriculum is “child centered.” Activities are designed in response to the particular strengths, challenges and passions of individual children. Children have the capacity and the right to express their feelings and thinking through many different “languages” or “media.” Good curriculum consists of authentic work that grows from the interest and passions of the children.
At Little Wonders Learning Center their belief is that parents and children are partners in the child ’s education. Joy and friendship should be the principal ingredients of life at school. They also offer after school care, which is education-based and focuses on tutoring and completion of homework assignments. Visit Little Wonders Learning Center at 4743 Lexington Boulevard.
